Gather, create, and inspire! We are so excited to host an experience that builds community through the power of making. Our studio is set up with a large community work-table, sewing machines, tools, tables, frame looms, and more for you to use when we are not teaching a workshop. Join us and bring a project of your own to work on. Reservation is strongly encouraged. 

Open studio offerings:

• open studio only- use of sewing machines (or bring your own), tools, tables, communal looms, and more (excludes dye kitchen & floor looms). If attending, basic knowledge is required for equipment and machines. Assistance is available if you have a simple question or machine issues arise. 

• open studio + project help- use of sewing machines (or bring your own), tools, tables, communal looms, and more (excludes dye kitchen & floor looms). No prior knowledge required. We will teach basic skills or help along the way during a specific project (let us know about it in the notes during checkout).

Additional information

Our studio is equipped with 6 singer heavy duty sewing machines, 3 brother serger machines, and 1 Janome cover stitch machine, cutting tables, sewing tools, and communal looms. If you are interested in using a machine or frame loom, please let us know in the notes section during checkout. We are also excited to hear about your project if you require project help.

Attendees will receive a 10% off discount code that can be used for products available at Modest Transitions and future workshops (excludes community workshops, private consultations, and rentals).

Refunds + registration policies 

All workshops, classes, and camps are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your workshop to a friend or family member. Please let us know ahead of time by giving us a call or emailing customer service at hello@modesttransitions.com. In the event of a workshop cancellation due to enrollment, illness, weather, etc., you will receive 72 hours advanced notice and a full refund.
