Modest Transitions scholarships are provided to help individuals heal through meditative making, communal gathering and color medicine. Our goal is to make textile and fiber arts accessible and inclusive to urban and low-income neighborhoods where resources are limited.

inspired youth Mini grant (camp 2022)

A partial tuition grant in the amount of $200 for summer camp 2022, ages 7-11. One grant awarded per camp session.

empowered youth mini grant (monthly)

A full tuition grant for one kid's workshop, ages 7-11.

Application closes the 1st of each month


To be eligible for our mini grants:

The individual or child must reside in the Fishtown (19125), Kensington (19125), Port Richmond (19134), North Philadelphia (19122, 19132, 19133), Northern Liberties/Spring Garden (19123) neighborhoods.

Have an interest in natural dyeing and fibers arts. Please submit any artwork, samples, and other projects for consideration.
