june 4, 2022 (sat) // 12:30pm- 2:00pm // summer sun prints
Textile artist Liza Niles will be joining the studio for a summer sun print workshop! Sun prints are the original "Blueprint" (technically called cyanotype). They're really simple to do and the effect is almost "magical".
In this workshop, guests will use plant leaves, flowers, and objects from the studio or foraged materials, and transfer them onto a notecard by taking a picture in the sun. It's a fun way to spend a sunny summer day.
Guests will take away a printed note care, envelope or a printed paper + plexi frame to display their print. All materials are included in workshop price.
