string of pearls, intro to crochet

Crochet is a meditative craft that allows your ideas to manifest into a completely unique form. In this workshop, folx will have the opportunity to learn many of the basics of crochet and take home an eye catching faux string of pearls made with hand-dyed MT yarns. No two vines of the string of pearls are identical, and crochet projects don't have to be either. Though folx will have a guide for reference, this workshop encourages improvisation in the size of leaves and length of stems. At the conclusion of our practice, students will take home one hanging pot of string-of-pearls.

This workshop will cover half double, double, and triple crochet stitches, slip-stitch and chain stitch, working in the round, and increases.

Refunds + registration policies

Workshop enrollment requires a minimum of 4 students. An email notification will be sent 3 days before class if the enrollment minimum is not met. Students will receive a full refund for canceled workshops. All workshops, classes, and camps are non-refundable if enrollment is met. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your workshop to a friend or family member prior to the workshop.
